Kristin Drouin
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
I specialize in working with individuals of all ages who are navigating grief, loss, trauma, caregiving and life-limiting illness.
I was a client long before I became I therapist, so I know how hard it can feel to open up to a stranger. My goal is to meet you where you are and walk with you as you move toward where you want to be. I am passionate about working with individuals of all ages who are navigating grief, loss, trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, professional burnout, caregiving and chronic or life-limiting illness. I strive to create a therapeutic space that is authentic, safe and non-judgmental. My approach to our work together is relationship-based and trauma-informed. I believe that therapy is most effective when the connection between client and therapist is grounded in trust and compassion. I can't guarantee that the work ahead will be easy - but you won't have to do it alone. I offer in-person and virtual counseling services to individuals in the greater D.C. area, as well as teletherapy for those living in VA, MA or DE. I invite you to reach out so that we can explore, together, whether I might be the right person to join you or your child on the journey toward new insights, self-awareness, healing & growth.
