Kennedy Fipps
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA)
I am a warm, accepting, and compassionate provider who supports the various intersectional and diverse identities individuals hold.
Welcome! Intentionality and authenticity are most important to me as a therapist. I strive to create a safe and empowering space for clients to become better attuned to themselves and their needs. My background in substance use, life transitions, LGBTQ+ community work, and religious trauma has offered me an array of experiences working with clients with diverse identities, various goals, and life challenges which have shaped who they are. Self-compassion, emotional exploration, and values identification are effective tools I use with clients to promote growth and discovery. I utilize a person-centered, strengths based approach to best meet clients needs. I use evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches such as ACT, DBT, self-compassion, and somatic attunement to support college students in virtual and in-office sessions. I am a firm believer that the power of one's story can be used to develop self-love & confidence. Your story matters! Taking that first step to ask for support can be challenging. If you are interested in finding support through therapy, please reach out. I am here to support you, no matter what the circumstances are. You deserve to feel heard and seen!
