Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
I welcome and affirm clients by providing a calming peaceful environment that accepts people where they are with the aspects they are dealing.
I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker who works with children and adults and couples. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from University of the Ozark in Sociology and Psychology and received a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from University of Houston. I have a passion to work with people who are seeking help to manage and reduce depression, anxiety, behavioral difficulties and trauma. I am trained and uses empirically supported techniques including Cognitive Processing Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy and Trauma Focused- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally-Focused Therapy and Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am always seeking to learn and improve my techniques as a clinician. I have a wide range of experience working in a variety of settings including inpatient acute care, schools, and outpatient care providing services to children, adults and families. I have an affable, fun, outgoing personality and loves weaving humor and spontaneity into her sessions. I enjoy spending time with her husband and children outdoors, gardening and exercising.
