Joshua (Josh) Deena
(They/Them/Theirs)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Hello! I am glad to see you, and I hope I can provide the help you need.
Welcome! I am so glad to have you. I work with my clients to find ways to move through life with more feelings of peace, joy, and ease. This includes working through depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, stress, life transitions, and relationship issues. Nothing is too small for therapy! I bring warmth, compassion, and openness to therapy and want to work with you to guide the process. I will meet you where you are right now, and provide support in wading through the process that is engaging in therapy. Taking the leap to start therapy is big enough on its own, and working with me will help you build on that step and keep moving in the right direction because all that you need is already there, we just have to get to it. I have my BA in psychology from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduated from North Carolina State University, obtaining my MSW and subsequently my LCSWA. I have recently come from experience working in community-based mental health, serving a wide variety of clients with a wide variety of challenges. I bring that experience, as well as my own life experience into therapy. I am excited to be a part of the journey forward with you.
