Jamie Kostek

Hello and welcome! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Seattle. My main focus is the treatment of anxiety, OCD, and ADHD in youth and adults. I believe that everyone has the capacity for profound change. Some things I can help you or your child with include: gaining a greater sense of meaning and purpose in life; increasing awareness of your senses and the ability to activate your body's natural relaxation response; emotion regulation; learning how to reduce anxiety, worry, stress, and rumination; boosting your focus and organization, addressing parenting concerns; and gaining a deeper connection to yourself and others. I believe that YOU are the expert in you, and will work collaboratively to draw from the treatment modalities I am trained in to meet your goals for yourself or your child. Working with me, you can expect sessions to include ways to approach life more mindfully, and tools for dealing with difficult emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. My practice is a welcome space for all on the journey toward mental wellness and I can't wait to hear from you!
