James Moran
(He/Him/His)
Counselor, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), Other
I strive to create a collaborative relationship with all clients based on mutual respect, trust, openness, and authenticity.
When we deny what causes us shame, anger, and discomfort, we also deny what brings us joy, peace, and happiness. As a counselor, I help individuals recognize and reframe unhelpful thinking patterns, behaviors, and negative self-talk that holds them back from feeling fully present and living a more meaningful life. As a queer, multiracial counselor, I practice from a culturally sensitive, LGBTQ+ affirmative standpoint to create and foster a welcoming environment for clients of all identities.
