Jamaal Jones

Jamaal is a mental health professional committed to helping others reach their mental health goals. This may include building healthier relationships, working towards self-actualization, or managing symptoms. Jamaal’s work focuses on building a strong therapeutic alliance in which non-judgmental honesty, and integration of the “here and now” existential framework, helps bring about clarity and confidence from within. This approach has been effective in addressing unwanted behaviors or beliefs, helping overcome grief, anger, or pain, and in bringing about positive change and motivation with those who actively engage. Jamaal believes in taking a client-led approach to help clients reach their goals. He is passionate about adding value to any client, of any age, from all backgrounds, looking to pursue positive change in their own life. Jamaal considers himself to be a lifelong student of psychotherapy, human behavior, psychology, philosophy, and motivation. He enjoys developing his craft by reading, participating in workshops, engaging in experiential therapy groups, and seeking out consultation from his peers.
