Hannah Armstrong
Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
I completed a Bachelor’s in Psychology in 2021 from Winthrop University, and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Georgia.
I adopt a strengths-based approach that emphasizes empowerment and personal autonomy. I apply systems theory to recognize how an individual’s interactions with intricate environments shape their behavior. I recognize the significance of individual lived experiences, creating a safe space for clients to be heard and supported in a manner that aligns with their unique needs. I tailor my interventions to meet clients where they are and actively engage them in appropriate approaches. My therapeutic approach encompasses a diverse range of treatment models, including Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), behavioral interventions, psychoeducation, solutions-focused approaches, social skills training, and dialectical behavior interventions.
