Psychiatrist
My focus is on helping clients optimize their lives, transform potential into reality, and become the best version of their selves.
I am a board-certified psychiatrist who treats adults of all ages. My focus is on helping clients optimize their lives, transform potential into reality, and become the best version of their selves. My approach is to apply principles of neuroscience, psychology, meditation and mindfulness, stress management, nutrition, exercise, and pharmacology, to not only alleviate suffering, but ultimately to promote thriving. I completed my undergraduate degree at Duke University, and earned my medical degree at the Yale School of Medicine. I then completed my psychiatry residency at Duke University Hospital in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, where I was the recipient of numerous accolades and commendations by both colleagues and clients. I am the author of a number of peer-reviewed scientific publications which focus on the effects of meditation on the brain.
