Gilah Weissman
(She/Her/Hers)
Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
Gilah Weissman, ARNP earned her BA in forensic psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 1999 and an MSN in mental health nursing from Yale.
I take a holistic approach to mental health, considering the entire person in relation to social, mental, and environmental factors, rather than just the presenting symptoms of a mental disorder. I collaborate with the FPS interdisciplinary team to develop personalized treatment plans for each patient. I use a patient-centered approach, empowering each person I see to actively participate in their treatment and achieve their goals. Her primary goal is to facilitate patients’ advocacy for their own healthcare. I specialize in treating a wide range of mood disorders and ADHD.
