Emma Socha
(She/Her/Hers)
Psychotherapist
I am here to help foster a safe, non-judgmental, and empowering space that can help guide you to reach your goals!
I specialize in therapy for college students and adults seeking support for trauma, anxiety, ADHD, depression, relationship challenges, and burnout. I recognize that you are the expert of your life and experiences. My role as a counselor is to help foster a safe, non-judgmental, supportive, and empowering space that can help guide you to reach your goals. I am passionate about building a strong foundation through the formation of a trusting therapeutic relationship to optimize clients’ healing and well-being. I completed my training in the Behavioral Health Department of Campbell’s School of Osteopathic Medicine. Throughout my training, I had the opportunity to work with adults of various ages and backgrounds as they navigated their demanding programs alongside their personal challenges. I am also a lifetime athlete and played collegiate soccer. This experience has influenced my budding interest in mental health care related to sports performance. I incorporate an eclectic and holistic approach and utilize modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, KAP and Solution Focused Therapy. If you feel I may be a good fit or have additional questions, please don't hesitate to reach out!
