My therapeutic approach is accepting, affirming, and encouraging. I truly enjoy providing a safe space for everyone who enters my office.

Hi! I’m Emily Dryman, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of North Carolina and owner of Merit Counseling & Wellness, PLLC. Merit Counseling & Wellness, PLLC was built on the belief that each person holds an individual sense of value, worth, and uniqueness. That we are all deserving of healing, compassion, and self-love. I believe that each person’s diverse experiences, backgrounds, abilities, and stories deserve to be told and heard. As your therapist I will never falter in my benevolence, empathy, and support for you. Comfortability and safety are true pillars of therapy. So bring your support animal, your comfy sweatpants, and the tea and meet me in session.
