Elizabeth (Beth) Lucht
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Physician Assistant
I am a mental health prescriber who works with adolescents and adults to help manage mental health and substance use challenges.
I have had the good fortune to work in the mental health field for almost 30 years, first as a social worker and now as a physician assistant and psychiatric prescriber. During that time, I've worked in community case management, crisis intervention, program development and administration and as a therapist. Since becoming a PA, I've worked in outpatient mental health as well as family practice and urgent care. This gives me the unique perspective of understanding client's issues from both a psychological and a medical perspective. I work with individuals aged 10 and up. One of my interests is working with people who have experienced trauma in their past. I have experience working with clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression and attention problems. I also prescribe medicine to help with substance use disorders, including opioid use. I'm a big believer in resilience and autonomy. In my work with clients, I like to think of myself as a resource and teammate. This means that I am here to help you find your strengths in addition to talking about problems, and to work together to come up with a solution.
