David Weber

I tend to utilize an eclectic approach, but with a strong foundation of Person-Centered Rogerian therapeutic approaches. I earned my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling from MidAmerica Nazarene University, as well as certifications for Sex Addiction Therapy (SATP) and Play Therapy (PTC) from MidAmerica Nazarene University. I am training in DBT, EMDR, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing. I earned my Addiction Therapy degree from Kansas City, Kansas Community College. I am currently licensed in the state of Kansas as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor (LCAC). I am a nationally certified counselor (NCC) by the National Board for Certified Counselor (NBCC), and have worked in an inpatient substance abuse center, and two community mental health centers in eastern Kansas. I am a retired police officer with over 30 years of experience, and during that time I served on the department's wellness team and peer support team. I am a United States Air Force Veteran.
