David Langford
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
I offer a free half-hour in-office consultation so you can see if you want to try therapy with me. We also see couples and families.
Here is how I help: I offer grounded and compassionate therapy that is open, present, and realistic. You will be understood and accepted as you are so we can work toward resolving the problems that stand in your way, whether they are challenges you want to face on your own, or relationship issues you want to resolve with your partner or family. With couples, Meshel Langford is my co-therapist. Having both of us provides balance, perspective, and support. I work with couples, families, and individuals, specializing in individual therapy with men, and relationship therapy. I also offer EMDR, a type of therapy which helps the brain reprocess trauma and other distress. I co-authored a graduate text for the Marriage and Family Therapy program at Edgewood College. I have witnessed the deepest wounds become places of wisdom and strength, and the belief in love and hope become stronger than anything that opposes them. Both couple and individual therapy can help accomplish that, and can help you discover your life as you want it to be.
