As a dedicated therapist, my primary goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment that encourages open discussions about mental health concerns. This setting enables clients to effectively work towards their goals. I am committed to normalizing conversations around mental wellness, and I believe that everyone deserves access to effective and compassionate care. I have extensive experience working with individuals who have faced trauma or significant life stressors. I am passionate about guiding these individuals on their healing journeys through evidence-based approaches, including psychoeducation, Trauma-Focused Therapy, decolonization therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Anchor relational therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered Therapy, Islamically integrated psychotherapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. My therapeutic approach is personalized and tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. I work with adolescents, adults, Muslims, African Americans, immigrants, and individuals from diverse backgrounds, aiming to help them develop healthy self-perceptions and improve their relational dynamics.
