Brandon Hester
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
New Leaf Behavioral Health: Making mental health care affordable and accessible for all.
Brandon is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 7 years of experience in the field. He received his Masters of Social Work from the University of Denver in 2014 and has worked in a variety of outpatient mental health settings. The foundation of his alliance with client’s is making sure they feel heard, understood, and validated. Being a good listener comes first. Listening and making sure everyone feels heard and not judged is a high priority in his work and he feels it is the foundation for a good therapeutic relationship. Brandon focuses on providing empathy and a safe place to discuss tough emotions to gain insight into how they can improve themselves and their lives. Continued learning is a crucial aspect of his approach to counseling. He is constantly reading to expand his understanding of motivations for behavior and ways to help facilitate client’s goals. This allows him to provide support in a non-directive way where all feel heard and are able to reach your therapeutic goals.
