(She/Her/Hers)
Psychologist, Psychotherapist
I'm an experienced, honest, and open psychologist who support clients in all stages of life to thrive during life transitions
I'm a warm, kind, and gentle but straightforward psychologist with over 40 years of experience as a clinician and advocate with a variety of populations and settings, including people with chronic illness, developmental disabilities, and those experiencing stressful transitions. I welcome diverse ages, abilities, and sexual and gender identities and engage in the complexities of culture, ethnicity, and race Along with the unique ways anxiety and depression manifest for you as a client, I keep an eye on both the developmental and situational influences of trauma, interpersonal conflict, grief and loss, relationships, and other past experiences. I bring an awareness of and sensitivity to diverse concerns yet also enjoy learning from and with you. My approach is grounded in psychodynamic and existential theories, and integrates relational, developmental, and attachment-based perspectives. I also use interventions from Mentalization-Based Treatment (MBT), Mindfulness, CBT, and ACT. My training and experiences have attuned me to the value and meaning of life roles, including activities in school/work and career development, parenting, and the contributions of the aging to society.
