A little bit about me and my counseling practice: I seek to create an environment where clients can be fully themselves and at ease, regardless of what they bring to the table. I further believe in the therapeutic power of honesty and compassion, towards self and others. I know from personal and professional experience that these two practices lay the foundation for lasting growth and life change. Finally, I believe that healing happens best in the context of community. Thus, I am passionate about helping clients deepen their relationships with family, significant others, and friends. In my practice, I implement a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I am also able to integrate faith and spirituality into counseling when requested by the client. Please reach out with any questions!
