I support children & teens with anxiety, depression, parent-teen conflict, grief and loss, ADHD, learning disabilities, LGBTQ+ issues, and self-esteem.

Hi, I’m Ashley Raab. I’ve been a Middle School Counselor since 2018, supporting students in grades 6 through 8. I’m originally from New Jersey and earned my Bachelor’s in Psychology from Kutztown University in 2015. I then completed my graduate studies in School Counseling at Rowan University in 2018. I started my career in Pitt County working with middle schoolers for three years before moving to Wake County, where I’ve been a 7th-grade counselor for the past four years. In 2024, I was honored to be named Wake School Counselor of the Year and earned both my National Board Certified Counselor (NCC) and National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT) credentials. I pursued my Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) credential because I want to continue helping individuals, especially teens, on a deeper clinical level. I’m passionate about creating a supportive and inclusive environment where individuals feel seen, heard, and empowered to take ownership of their growth and success.
