My practice is LGBTQIA2S+ and neurodiversity affirming
I believe that healing happens when we are able to tune in and listen to our authentic selves with compassion and acceptance. We often learn to hide or deny parts of ourselves in order to stay emotionally or physically safe in childhood. While originally adaptive, this can shape how we see the world, ourselves, and others in it and lead to suffering. I aim to create a safe space for my clients to share their story and be heard with compassion, curiosity, acceptance, and empathy. I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Arkansas and am trained as a trauma-sensitive yoga teacher (RYT200). I am also EMDR trained. I utilize a neuro-informed, relational approach that emphasizes the connection between mind and body. My practice is secular, neurodiversity affirming, and LGBTQIA2S+ affirming. Admitting that things aren't going the way you'd like is hard and asking for help is even harder. I'm so proud of you for taking the first step and honored that you're considering sharing your story with me. If you're ready to take the next step, please reach out to me!
