Ajith Abraham, PMHNP-BC is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, graduated from University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill with Master’s in Nursing degree. After graduation, Mr. Abraham completed the twelve-month post-graduate residency program at Salem VA medical center, which provided intense, organized specialized training in treating complex trauma, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), substance use disorders, psychotic disorders and various other diagnoses. With over 10 years of nursing experience including medical, surgical, geriatric care, hospice, and palliative care, Ajith is passionate about building relationship and empowering his patients to be active participants in their treatment plans and improving quality of life. Mr. Abraham treats patients ages of 13 - 99 utilizing evidence-based practice. In his free time, Ajith enjoys spending time with family and friends, loves being outdoors, hiking and travel.
