Hey there! I'm so glad that you're taking the huge step to find a therapist!
First things first, congrats on taking the first step. it's okay to need help to get through the now. My goal is to help you learn how to manage and cope with the anxiety and/or trauma you may have experienced in your life so that you don't have to spend so much time away from doing and accomplishing the things you want to. Listen, I get it. Life isn't always easy, but that doesn't mean that you aren't able to create an experience that brings you joy. Anxiety doesn't have to hinder you. Traumatic experiences don't have to hinder you. Concerns about relationships and parenting don't have to hinder you. You are more than capable of working through those things that might feel like they are meant to break you. Stand in your power, and if you'll have me, I'd love to help you along the way. When it comes to managing emotions, I strongly believe that you must go through them. The issues arise when you get stuck there or aren't able to recognize how the experience is hurting/helping you. Being able to persevere happens because people are naturally resilient, even if they don’t believe so in their most difficult moments. Seriously, if you don’t think you are, remember that you have gotten through 100% of the things you have gone through in your life, and they have led you to this very moment. If you are interested in therapy for anxiety, trauma, or perinatal mental health needs (because yes, having a child impacts both parents), please feel free to contact me.
