I am registered in both Carolinas. My aim is to support individuals of color in navigating identity formation, racism, mental health struggles, social media pressures, and school stress. Individuals often face the challenge of negotiating their personal identities in a society that holds limited or stereotyped views of them. Many grapple with racism—both subtle and overt—and the pressure to conform, fit in, or maintain a curated image on social media, which can exacerbate feelings of inadequacy or anxiety. Additionally, challenges within family dynamics, such as generational differences or communication issues, may also be explored. As a clinician, my goal is to help individuals of color navigate identity formation, racism, mental health struggles, social media pressures, and school-related stress. I offer support in unpacking the impact of both subtle and overt forms of racism, as well as the pressure to conform, fit in, or maintain a curated image on social media—factors that can intensify feelings of inadequacy, anxiety, or isolation. I also help clients explore challenges within family dynamics, including generational differences and communication issues.
