Tess Liebersohn
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
I work with clients who want to understand their patterns, behaviors, relationships, challenges, and possibilities.
Ready to step into the here and now? I work with clients through grief, depression, anxiety, life changes, relational ruptures and repairs, trauma, burnout, and more. Regardless of your presenting concerns, I help you examine yourself in a curious, collaborative way. I especially enjoy working with first-time therapy clients, emerging adults, parents who are exploring alternatives to conventional school, and people contemplating their end-of-life legacy. My style has been described as direct, playful, and creative. Depending on the session, I may be a witness to your experience, a collaborator in problem-solving, an observer of an entrenched situation who offers new perspectives, and/or a coach who guides you through new stories and possibilities. Always, I tend to your experience and needs. I enjoy being with people as they encounter the inherent tensions of life. As a therapist, I want to make the task of being human a little bit easier. Through presence, dialogue, and compassion, I help my clients step more fully into their own lives.
