Sophie Foster Fink
Psychologist
Providing trauma informed, culturally aware care to the LGBTQIA+ community.
I am a clinical psychologist with over a decade of experience helping individuals and families explore their inner world, resolve repeating patterns in their lives, and build thriving relationships. I am passionate about providing person-centered therapy that is truly collaborative – seeing the client as the expert on their experience, and the therapist as a guide to open up thinking and understanding. I integrate my foundational knowledge in attachment, relational theory, and feminist therapy with body-based modalities including EMDR and IFS to help clients gain insight and find ease. For me, being a therapist is more than an awesome job, it is also an act of social justice and a means of making systemic change. I received my BA in Clinical Psychology and Child Development from Tufts University and my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from William James College. I have also completed post-graduate training at The Institute of Relational Psychoanalysis of Philadelphia, as well as certifications in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Attachment-Focused Family Therapy for complex trauma.
