Myriam Padron
Psychologist
Hello! My name is Myriam Padron, I am a licensed psychologist specializing in OCD, eating disorders, phobias, and anxiety disorders.
I received my masters and doctorate degrees in clinical psychology from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. I previously worked as one of the Clinical Associate Directors of the Neurobehavioral Institute (NBI) Ranch program and am currently working in private practice. I have specialized training in treating obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), panic attacks, phobias, social anxiety, generalized anxiety, hair-pulling, skin-picking, hoarding, LGBTQA concerns, autism affirming care, and eating disorders. I also have extensive experience providing therapy to those who suffer from depression, mood disorders, and personality disorders. Throughout treatment I use evidence-based skills found in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). I also believe treatment should be tailored for each client depending on their own specific needs. There is no “one size fits all.” I see therapy as a collaborative process, working together as a team against symptoms. I hope to help you in your journey back towards your goals/values.
