Licensed psychologist with long experience working with youth & young adults in evidence based therapy for anxiety, OCD, mood, ADHD, ASD, and parenting.

Welcome! I am a licensed psychologist with 20 years experience in working with adolescents and young adults in evidence based therapy for anxiety, mood, attention, and high functioning autism spectrum issues. I have deep experience working with students on family conflict, relationship concerns, and issues with the transition to college. I been on faculty in psychiatry at Columbia and Duke. It would be my honor to bring my experience to support you. My approach is about connecting with you to understand your personal needs. Together, we choose therapeutic strategies rooted in scientific evidence (e.g. CBT and ACT for anxiety; organizational skills training for ADHD). I am deeply caring, consistent, accepting of others, and also bring a sense of humor to our work when it's appropriate. As a faculty member and parent of recent Duke grad, I am uniquely tied into the culture of Duke, and understand its strengths and difficulties. I identify as ally of the LGBTQIA+ community. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, running, and playing with my dog. I am also a professionally trained pastry chef and love creating treats for friends & family. I look forward to meeting.
