Melanie Huska
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
My specialty and passion is working with college students and faculty. I welcome and affirm clients of all identities and backgrounds.
I enjoy working with college students and faculty struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, identity formation (gender, sexuality, race, general), imposter syndrome, stress, lack of coping skills, grief, self-esteem, and body image. Depending on your feedback and needs, I draw on a variety of modalities such as Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Relational-Cultural Therapy, and mindfulness techniques. Regardless of what therapeutic approach I employ, my work always aims to be feminist, systemic, and trauma-informed.
