Megan Wrast
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)
I welcome clients of all backgrounds and clinical presentations, and utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches, including EMDR.
My counseling experiences have allowed me to work with a variety of age ranges. I have obtained a skillset working with individuals who have been involved in the criminal justice system, have experienced a variety of trauma, have been living with severe and persistent mental illness, have interacted with juvie and foster care systems, have experienced human trafficking, face daily challenges with anxiety, depression, & life transitions as well as individuals that have histories of abuse. I am passionate about working with individuals to reach their goals, and live authentically. With clients, I will utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including CBT, DBT, EMDR, art therapy, values work, and mindfulness. I am passionate about doing the work to discover and address issues at their core, and walking with clients to rebuild strong foundations after doing so. I strive to create an inviting and accepting relationship with clients, built on trust, communication, and respectful collaboration. As a clinician, I provide individualized services that appeal to each client's unique goals, values, and personalities with a person-centered and strengths based approach.
