Leigh (Leigh Ann) Carter
(She/Her/Hers)
Psychologist
I specialize in working with the young adult population, including university students and those navigating life post-college.
I am a licensed psychologist providing psychotherapy services for individuals (ages 16+) experiencing anxiety, depression, women’s issues, self-esteem, grief/loss, relationship concerns, LGBTQ+ identity work, and life transitions. I also have extensive experience working with college/graduate student populations and professionals struggling with self-care and work-life balance. I believe in helping people work towards their goals by better understanding the issues and patterns that bring them to psychotherapy and exploring areas for change. I have co-authored the book Self-Care for Clinicians in Training. I work with patients in an empathic, collaborative, and individually-tailored approach to help them get unstuck and find their voice through increased self-awareness, self-compassion, inner strength, and positive coping skills.
