I have over 15 years of experience as a therapist in the Charlottesville community, and my approach to therapy blends a warm therapeutic relationship with evidence-based approaches to therapy. I work with older teens, college students, and adults -- most of whom are seeking healing after experiencing trauma(s), loss, relationship difficulties, anxiety, or struggles during life changes and transitions. I am an EMDR-Certified therapist, use expressive and somatic approaches, and also provide EMDR Therapy Intensives. I am LGBTQ+ affirming, and approach life and work from a social justice lens. Additionally, I have the pleasure of providing clinical supervision to Elise Wise, Resident in Counseling. Elise works with clients in-person and virtually, at a reduced rate ($85/session).
