I’m passionate about making high-quality care accessible and believe that effective treatment is both relational and grounded in science.

I became a psychiatrist because I believe meaningful healing begins with understanding the whole person—their motivations, life story, and personal goals. I earned my medical degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, completed my residency at the University of New Mexico Hospital, and pursued a fellowship in psychodynamic psychiatry at Silver Hill Hospital. There, I gained extensive experience facilitating intensive treatment for personality disorders and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. My therapeutic approach integrates intensive short-term dynamic psychotherapy and mentalization-based therapy. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, and the underlying emotional conflicts that can leave individuals feeling stuck. Together with each patient, I co-create a personalized treatment plan that may include therapy, medication when appropriate, and shared decision-making at every stage. I strive to ensure that patients feel genuinely heard, that our work is a true partnership and that growth and healing are possible—even through challenges within the therapeutic relationship. I am deeply committed to making high-quality mental health care accessible
