Janae Borrego
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
I provide culturally sensitive & affirming services to LGBTQIA2s+, Latinx & BiPOC athletes & students to help support you in reaching your full potential!
I'm a southern California native. I was a competitive athlete for more than 20 yrs and starting at a young age. I was also a collegiate athlete and sports was an integral part in my development as an overall person and I understands the benefits of athletics on someone's life. More importantly though, being a collegiate athlete, I can resonate with the stressors and challenges that student athletes can experience especially when managing life stressors and the many hats you wear. Janae currently still engages in martial arts such as Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and kickboxing to support her competitive spirit, build personal growth and maintain movement in her life. Janae, is a licensed psychotherapist, clinical certified trauma professional, certified EMDR professional and certified integrative mental health professional. Janae utilizes her educational and athletic background to support athletes, professionals, students and performers/artists by building their mind body connection, building their emotional intelligence and mental capabilities to improve, not jus their performance but overall life.
