Frances Shelby
(She/Her/Hers)
Counselor
I work with individuals who are dealing with substance use, anxiety, depression and life transitions.
Hello, My name is Frances and I'm a LPC and LCDC. I have been working with clients for about 6 years in private practice. I work with individuals who are dealing with substance use, anxiety, depression and life transitions. I enjoy working with young adults my goal is to make you feel heard during out time together. I know that looking for a therapist - and just admitting you may want to give this a try - is daunting. I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey. I believe that therapy is a fluid process and there is no “one –size –fits –all” approach. I work from a mindfulness prospective and have seen this have lasting impacts on those who incorporate it into their lives. I also use a harm reduction model for substance use and believe that there are many paths to recovery. Feel free to reach out for a free phone consultation so that we can discuss how therapy might benefit you at this time.
