Eliza Segell
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
We believe in a compassionate, collaborative, and experiential approach to individual and couples therapy.
As a practitioner, I am kind, playful, genuine - and I greet your humanity with my own. Therapy with me is experiential. My clinical practice is rooted in an understanding of attachment, neurobiology, and differentiation - and the therapy space is our workshop. I incorporate somatic approaches (such as Sensate Focus, Polyvagal Theory, Internal Family Systems, and Mindfulness) which grow awareness of our body’s language for attachment and connection, with others and ourselves. I believe in communicating openly about our therapeutic relationship and regularly inviting you into a collaborative discussion about our work. I have specialized training and expertise working with couples and individuals on a range of relational and sexual concerns. I address the context of you. Your intersecting identities, spirituality, experience of oppression/racism, messages you’ve received about sex, gender, body image – these factors can impact our ability to stay in connection to ourselves and others.
