Dr. Yip completed his doctoral internship in Forensic and Correctional Psychology at the CA Dept. of Correction and Rehabilitation and a Neuropsychology externship at Children's Hospital LA/ USC Keck Medicine. He has numerous publications/ presentations on suicide, culture, and risk assessments. Dr. Yip has has held clinical positions at academic medical hospitals, corrections facilities/ prisons, diversion programs, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, community health centers/ clinics, crisis centers, and school based mental health programs. Dr. Yip leads a Psychological Evaluation Program, supervises doctoral interns/ students, and works in a school based program and diversion program. He also is a consultant to various law enforcement agencies and a peer reviewer for Springer journals.
