I have extensive experience working with individuals of all ages, from children to young adults, who face challenges related to gender and sexuality identity, anxiety, depression, ADHD, negative self-image, behavioral disorders, and trauma recovery. During sessions, I employ culturally grounded social work practices from a strengths perspective, complemented by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Social Identity Theory, Narrative Theory, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I continually strive to keep clients engaged during challenging conversations by maintaining a relatable, creative, and enjoyable therapeutic style. The foundation of a successful therapeutic relationship lies in a supportive and open-minded attitude, creating a comfortable and judgment-free environment where clients feel safe to express themselves freely. With all my clients, particularly those who are younger, I am dedicated to assisting them in managing their moods and developing social and emotional skills to enhance their daily lives and interactions with others.
