Alyssa Spungen
(She/Her/Hers)
Counselor
I provide a safe space for connection that catalyzes the healing potential within you.
As a therapist, I draw inspiration from anti-colonial and depth psychology as these align with my own personal values related to healing, those that involve recognizing the impact of systemic trauma and cultivating soul growth. I believe that altered states~ dreams, entering the imaginal realm, and ones facilitated by medicines, are neglected realms that function as keys to our wellness. I am a student of Lindsey Wilson College in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, a teacher of Shakti Yoga, and a Certified Dreamwork Professional from the Institute for Dream Studies. Some of the tools I like to use with clients involve dreamwork, expressive art, and guided visual and somatic meditations.
