Alexis Arzuaga
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)
My areas of focus are trauma, grief/loss, and religious/spiritual struggles.
I entered the counseling profession to support individuals that are having difficulty facing life’s challenges. Through various life experiences (personal and professional), I have found that many individuals struggle not because they are not capable of overcoming life’s challenges, but because they do not have the support and/or encouragement they need. I believe that as humanity becomes “busier”, life becomes more complicated affecting relationships and how individuals see themselves fitting in the world. Life is full of complicated events that are difficult to overcome, especially without support. Ultimately, these difficulties distract individuals from pursuing what is important and provides meaning to their lives. My goal is to provide a place of understanding and honest feedback so that all clients can safely gain awareness of their challenges in life to safely meet their goals. I can provide all services in Spanish.
