Community-Based Services

Compass is a comprehensive early intervention program to support individuals and their families after experiencing an initial episode of psychosis.

Compass utilizes the NAVIGATE model, which is an evidence-based treatment program designed to support individuals and their families in creating a path towards recovery following an initial episode of psychosis. Treatment is provided by a team of mental health professionals dedicated to partnering in collaborative and culturally-informed ways. Compass focuses on empowering those affected by psychosis to make meaning of their experiences, pursue their goals, and move forward with their lives. Wellness and recovery services include: · Individual therapy to learn effective ways of coping and strengthen resiliency · Personalized psychiatric medication evaluation with a focus on shared decision making · Supported education and employment services to maintain or resume school and/or work activities · Family therapy and education to gain knowledge in a variety of recovery-oriented topics · Case management to assist with community-based resources and increase success
