Vickey (Vickey Hart) Simmons-Hart
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Culturally affirming, trauma-informed therapy for BIPOC, queer, and neurodiverse folkså seeking real talk, healing, and support.
Therapy for the ones who feel too much—and are done pretending they don’t. Hey beautiful souls, my name is Vickey (she/her), a queer Black female therapist with advanced training in EMDR, Brainspotting, and IFS-informed care—and I don’t believe in surface-level healing. I work with students who are exhausted from masking, code-switching, overthinking, people-pleasing, or pretending they’ve got it all together. Therapy with me is real, deep, and radically affirming. We can talk trauma, identity, sex, shame, family mess, and everything in between—with zero judgment. I specialize in working with Black and brown folks, LGBTQIA+ students, neurodivergent minds, and anyone exploring who they are outside of survival mode. My practice is sex-positive, kink-aware, and built for folks who’ve felt too complex, too sensitive, too much. You’re not too much—you’re just ready to be seen. If you’re looking for therapy that gets the nuance, holds your truth, and meets you with warmth and realness, I got you. Let’s get into the work that actually heals.
