Maybe you get flooded by big emotions or have learned to ignore your needs altogether? Humans were designed to face adversity, but we weren't meant to face it alone. Hey I'm Sara (she/her)! I'm passionate about helping clients find relief from anxiety and reconnect with their authentic selves after trauma. With a decade of experience in the trauma field, I specialize in treating adult women with a history of complex and relational trauma. I'm a strengths-based de-pathologizing provider; I tailor treatment to client's needs and existing resources. My style is collaborative, compassionate & attachment focused. First, I join with clients in our shared humanity. Then I use my clinicial experience to draw from EMDR, IFS, the Flash Technique, Polyvagal Therapy, Compassion-focused Therapy and CBT. With non-violence as a guiding principle, I offer a trauma informed, anti-racist, LGBTQ+ affirming, fat positive, pro-reproductive-freedom space. My hope is to empower clients with new perspectives, awareness and tools to foster growth.
