We will work together to help you leave counseling feeling more uplifted.

It is hard living day-to-day not feeling your best. It is also hard when we experience unwanted or stressful events and feel like there is no one who understands. There can be a lack of validation for people's mental health challenges. On top of that, a person may experience shame when thinking about sharing their story with someone in their life. However, keeping that story in can lead to more significant mental challenge, illness, or health problems later on. Counseling provides a confidential place to talk about your struggles and find solutions to feeling better. I understand how difficult it can be to talk about problems. It's my goal to provide you with a warm and welcoming space so that you can share your story. I want you to be heard, validated, and know that nothing is ever too much to share. Sometimes reaching out to make the first appointment is the hardest part, and I am happy to walk you through the process! I know that when you are experiencing problems it is important to feel better quickly. If you feel like you need an extra person to talk with, don't want to wait for an appointment, and want a place to go where you will not be judged, I invite you to meet with me. We will work together to ensure that you leave counseling feeling more uplifted!
