Samantha (Sam) Tavlin

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with specific training in working with individuals who have been impacted by interpersonal trauma, such as sexual assault. I often work with individuals experiencing relationships challenges, stress and anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress. I believe that working collaboratively is the best way to find solutions that will help you move forward, find joy, and make the changes you want in your life. I always look forward to hearing what my clients have to say, so I welcome humor, creativity, and whichever parts of yourself you’d like to share. I offer EMDR therapy, individual therapy, couples therapy, art therapy, and trauma-specific therapy – virtually and in person in Center City, Philadelphia. And because it’s important to me that you find a therapist who is the right fit for you, I will always be transparent about who I am as a therapist and person so that you can decide if I am a good fit. I received my master’s degree in Counseling and Art Therapy from Drexel University in 2018 and engage in ongoing training and consultation to ensure I am always offering my best as a therapist.
