I have a BA from the University of Arkansas and a masters from KU and have been with FPS since January 2021. I am bilingual and fluent in Spanish.
I employ various strengths-based approaches in her practice, such as solution-focused, Sandtray, EMDR, psychodrama, play therapy, and mindfulness/grounding techniques. Rosa recognizes the unique strengths, skills, knowledge, connections, and potential in each client she encounters. I collaborate with individuals and families to address behavioral problems, family conflicts, abuse, and relational concerns. I emphasize my clients’ expertise in their lives and work to develop healthy coping strategies with a supportive therapeutic relationship.
