I work with my clients to build knowledge and skills to address depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, OCD, ADHD, PTSD, and difficult life circumstances.

I’m Rebekah, a licensed psychological associate (LPA) based in Boone, North Carolina. I have over five years of experience in providing psychotherapy as well as mental health evaluations and assessments. My career in mental health began as a care-worker providing support to children and youth who experienced sexual and physical trauma. My experiences since then have been in both inpatient and outpatient settings with focus on providing psychotherapy for depression, anxiety, social anxiety, OCD, PTSD, ADHD, academic stress, stressful life events, crisis situations, suicidal ideation, and self-harm. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, empathetic, evidence-based, and non-judgmental. I believe therapy is best when you feel heard, understood, and supported every step of the way. Working with me means learning about yourself, developing coping skills, and trouble-shooting those coping skills so that they work for you. We'll know therapy is working when you start your days feeling rested, engaged, and energized and when you end your days feeling relaxed, accomplished, content, and ultimately feel proud of yourself.
