Nancy Goodrich Mitts
(She/Her/Hers)
Psychologist
I offer online individual counseling for college students and young professionals. I specialize in working with anxiety, trauma (CPTSD), and LGBTQ+ folks.
My approach to therapy is to connect deeply with you and foster a space for mindfulness, healing, and self-acceptance. My goal as we work together is for you to begin to develop a sense of safety and feel like you can function better in your life. You'll better understand yourself, explore what is and isn't working for you, and process painful parts of your past that hold you back. You'll also deepen your ability to build healthy relationships with others. I am warm and non-judgmental, but also direct in offering feedback. I integrate feminist, acceptance, and compassion-focused approaches to best fit each individual client. My work is trauma-informed and relational, and it incorporates elements of mindfulness and parts work to help you function better and find a sense of meaning. I have extensive experience working with young adults and college students and particularly enjoy working with queer folks and trauma survivors. Reach out via email for a free consultation to ask questions and get a better sense of how we could work together.
