Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Welcome! I provide a safe space for healing and growth, and I cannot wait to help you create positive changes in your life.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of San Diego. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Minnesota with a major in Psychology and a minor in Art specializing in ceramics. My minor in art has been beneficial to assist me in Art Therapy techniques. Additionally, my ceramic work has influenced me to have a passion for clay and somatic-based therapies. I strive to create a comfortable and inclusive environment where everyone can feel safe to grow. Working from a person-centered approach, I believe therapy should be about meeting you where you are at and working together from there. Additionally, my therapeutic approach is based on psychodynamic theory, however, I am passionate about finding the right tools for each individual client. Some of these include working with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Play Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Therapy. Through exploring the unique needs of each individual I believe together we can find a helpful path toward growth.
