Megan Skelding

Hi! I’m Megan Skelding, PMHNP-BC. I have been in private practice since 2016 and also have experience in the in-patient setting. I have been a nurse since 2007 and was drawn to mental health. Everyone has a story and I feel honored when my patients share their story with me. For those patients that I have had the pleasure of working with (in multiple locations), thank you for your continued trust. I am married with 4 children, 3 girls and a boy. I love traveling with my family and spending time outdoors. “Do you prescribe medication?” While I typically prescribe medication, I understand medication isn’t for everyone. My role as your provider is to help give you the tools to make life a little bit easier to manage. “What if I don’t want any meds?” That’s fine, too. I’m here for you. We will explore what options would be best for you and your family. “Do you offer therapy?” I pride myself in taking a therapeutic approach which encompasses the individual and their varying relationships. I have training in basic psychotherapy anything more specific, I would provide referrals.
